Talking Nan Shepherd: A blether about book festivals

Talking Nan Shepherd, view of Simonside in Hexham
Simonside, Hexham

I’m talking  Nan Shepherd with Caroline Beck at Hexham Book Fest this weekend. You’ll find us at the Queen’s Theatre on Sunday at 12.00 pm. It’s a long, old schlep from Suffolk so it’s just as well I love a road trip.

There are still tickets available, so come and join us. You can book tickets here. You might just be the first to hear news of what’s in the Shepherd pipeline, too.

I’ve never been to Hexham, so I’m looking forward to exploring. Might even find time for  a tramp…

If you can’t make it to Northumberland, I’ll be talking about Nan Shepherd again at Aberdeen University’s  May Festival.    26th May, 4.30 pm – May Tent, King’s Lawn. Professor Alison Lumsden is chairing.

Right, plug over. Off to pack my walking boots.

Other upcoming events here.
